Does it make SENSEor..?

The harness is designed to connect all the legal and approved sensors in the class.

All the bikes standard sensors that are needed will be connected plus some extra datalogging sensors, you are allowed to add:

  • Front and rear suspension potentiometers
  • Gear Shift load cell / quickshift switch
  • GPS unit
  • Front brake pressure sensor.
  • Yamaha R3 Gear position convertor

Notes:

  • The GPS unit can be bought from us and allows you to log your GPS position and to have your laps times and lap gain/loss bars displayed on the dash.
  • You can choose your own suspension sensors – but if you need new ones, take a look here in our shop where you will find the latest 9.5mm type.
  • For the gear shift sensor we recommend a load cell – you can find our KA manufactured one supplied here in the shop. See our Quickshifter blog.
  • Front brake pressure sensor – this season you will be able to use a front brake pressure sensor – but only with the control electronics system, if you use the 2018 rules then you must use a brake pressure switch only.
  • R3 gear position convertor – this takes the raw gear position output and allows the ECU to immediately know the gear position rather than have to calculate it using speed. This means the ECU’s anti jerk strategy can be fully functional.

You are not allowed to connect anything else on the bike that is not detailed and everything must connect via the control system harness.
